Labour Day in the Kootenays

IBEW helped with a successful West Kootenay Labour Council event over the Labour Day long weekend.
A big thanks to our local Labour Council President, Sandy Bojechko, and the help of our many volunteers who helped host a free BBQ with a live local band (T&T Band) and lots of games and prizes for the kids at Millennium Park. Great to be able to host public events and engage with our community to support the labour movement again. Planning for next year already and as our slogan says let's go "forward together".
We'd also like to thank candidates who are running in the upcoming Municipal Elections Oct 15, 2022 and local BC NDP MLA's who attended. Please vote for Labour Council Endorsed candidates in the upcoming Municipal Elections to help ensure labour is effectively represented in our communities!
