Merry Christmas from Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake

Some of the crew currently working on the Cariboo Memorial Hospital upgrades in Williams Lake.

The Cariboo Memorial Hospital Redevelopment Project and IBEW 993 are bringing big changes to healthcare in Williams Lake and the surrounding areas. The project will add new clinical and support spaces through both new construction and renovations to the existing hospital. These updates will improve key areas like the emergency department, inpatient units, maternal care and women’s health, mental health and substance use services, the pharmacy, and even include space for the University of British Columbia’s medical program.

To keep the hospital running while construction is underway, the work is being done by our brothers and sisters in IBEW 993 in phases. These upgrades will make a real difference for the people in the region, providing better spaces and resources for health care.
