IBEW 993’s A&W Post-Secondary Bursary Winners Announced

IBEW 993 is proud to share that two A&W bursaries of $2,000 each have been awarded to support post-secondary education.
This year’s recipients are:
- Justin Price
- Olivia Zocolo
These bursaries were made possible because workers at the A&W in Valleyview, Kamloops chose to unionize with IBEW 993. One of the benefits of forming a union at this location was the creation of post-secondary bursaries that help support young workers and their families as they continue their education.
IBEW 993 is a part of the communities we serve in Kamloops and across northern British Columbia, and we are committed to supporting opportunities for young people in our region.
IBEW 993 congratulates Justin and Olivia on their achievements and wishes them every success in their studies. We also thank the members at A&W Valleyview for showing how unionized workplaces can create real, lasting opportunities in our community.
