2026 Wiener Dog Race Photos

IBEW 993 was proud to be on hand for the 2026 Wiener Dog Races at the Kamloops Storm vs Merritt Centennials game.

Along with the Kamloops and District Labour Council and several other local unions, IBEW 993 helps sponsor the Kamloops Storm because we believe in backing community spaces where families gather and local pride shows up in a big way. If you’ve been to a game, you’ve probably seen union support right where it belongs, on the boards in “Union Corner.”

Each season, IBEW 993 also sponsors two fan-favourite nights, the annual Teddy Bear Toss and the Wiener Dog Races. These events are a fun way to bring the community together while highlighting the value of solidarity and local support.
