BC MLA Ravi Parmar recently visited the IBEW 993 Union Hall for a productive discussion with representatives from the Local.

Business Manager Jim Bicknell was joined by Brother Brian Andrews and Brother Darryl Schmidt to welcome Ravi Parmar and speak about issues important to working people, the electrical industry, and our communities. The meeting was a good opportunity to share perspectives on the challenges facing workers and to highlight the important role union members play in building and supporting British Columbia.

Visits like this help strengthen relationships with elected officials and ensure the voices of IBEW 993 members are heard. Open conversations with government representatives are an important part of advocating for good jobs, strong communities, and a fair future for workers across the province.
