A union isn’t just an organization that you join and then sit back. Each member of a union IS the union and the power of the union requires active participation by its members.

We need to advocate for better and safe working conditions, fair pay, and respect. In addition to negotiating our agreement(s) with our signatory contractors, we also need to advocate for ourselves at all levels of government. We need to associate with other unions locally, province wide, and Canada wide.

When we stand together, we have the power to make changes that benefit all workers.
