Vancouver Pile Driving (BC based company) and Besix (Belgium based) have combined to form a joint venture – Besix VanPile (BVJV) – to execute an exciting project on the LNGC site in Kitimat BC. Be part of our team and bring your skills and enthusiasm to BVJV as a Project Electrician. In this role, you will work as part of our Plant & Maintenance team.

Required to take shuttle transportation into the site (typically Terrace Park & Ride or Kitimat P&R). Our shifts are typically 10 hours and we work a rotation of 14 / 7 or 20 /8. This reports into our Plant Manager position.

See below a few guide lines a project electrician should be able to deal with, must have the least minimum of 4 years experience in the field of maintenance and repair.

  1.  Knowledge of electric conduct and wiring systems full understanding of electric blue prints
  2. The ideal electrician required is high and low voltage meaning able to diagnosing trouble shoot site installations/equipment/vehicles
  3. Analyzing inspecting on daily basis a variety of construction related equipment
  4. Making sure preventive maintenance been done
  5. Interaction on daily basis with mechanical crew
  6. Prepared work any given shift day/night/weekend

It is wet, so good raingear is required.
