2026 Periodic Leave Rate Adjustments Due to CRA Allowance Amendment

The Department of Finance Canada has announced the automobile deduction limits and expense benefit
rates for 2026. Included was an adjustment in the per/km maximum allowance for employees from
$0.72/km for the first 5000km, to $0.73/km.
In the Standard Agreements between CLR and BCBCBTU periodic leave amounts are adjusted annually
based on the current CRA mileage rates. As such, effective January 1, 2026
