Early December Crane Course in Kitimat

We will be conducting another Overhead Crane Certification in Kitimat either the 1st or 2nd week of December 2014.  The course date will be determined by which works best with most of the member’s turn around schedules.  This course will be a 2 day course with both Rigging and Overhead Crane operation elements.The certification received from this course will be valid at all 993 sites through out BC for 3 years.  Members who are interested in taking this course should submit a training request from our website or speak to their shop steward and asked to be placed on the list.

Preference shall be given to 993 members and also to Journeymen over apprentices.  We currently have 15 spots, but we will be able to schedule more courses if we need to do so.  Since this course is an expensive course, members who sign up for it will be asked to sign a course commitment form that can be obtained through Chris Sherman or through their shop stewards.
