Electrical Code Course for IBEW 993 Members

This 48 hour (16 - 3 hour classes) electrical code course is specifically designed for journeyman electricians that are preparing to write the British Columbia Safety Authority - "B" Field Safety Representative (FSR) certification examination. Apprentice electricians are also eligible for this course.

The code course will cover the 44 sections of 2012 Canadian Electrical Code plus the new BC Amendments. The Electrical Safety Regulation, Safety Standards General Regulation, Safety Standards Act, Electrical Directives and Information Bulletins, will also be covered in the course. Those wishing to write the "A" - FSR exam will be provided with additional code reference materials, work sheets and a mock "A" exam in preparation for writing the BC Safety Authority "A" exam.

Class size is limited to 25 seats. This class is open to all electrical workers but 10 seats have been reserved exclusively for IBEW members and is expected to fill quickly so early enrolment is encouraged.

End Date: November 29, 2012

Location: South Kamloops Senior Secondary School, Room #115 - (Entrance and parking at the Sage Brush Theatre Lot)

Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays (No classes Oct 23 and 25)
