IBEW 993 Proud Platinum Sponsor of Kamloops’ First Festival of Trees

For the inaugural Festival of Trees in Kamloops, IBEW 993 is honoured to step forward as the Platinum sponsor in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. This important community event brings people together during the holiday season to raise funds for essential care, research, and innovation in children’s health.
As part of our commitment, the IBEW 993 office staff has decorated a seven and a half foot Christmas tree in the lobby in the Delta Hotel in Kamloops. Our tree is the first thing people see when they enter the lobby.
The tree will be on display from November 14, 2025 to January 5, 2026, where members of the community are encouraged to visit, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and vote for their favourite display.
As electricians, we understand how powerful light can be. By sponsoring the Festival of Trees at the highest level, we are proud to help bring light, hope, and support to children and families who need it most. This is another example of how IBEW 993 is more than just a union; we are an active member of the community and are committed to making positive change.
IBEW 993 encourages everyone to stop by the Delta lobby, take in the beautifully decorated trees, and support the BC Children’s Hospital through this meaningful holiday tradition.
As part of the festival, we're asking people to "vote" for our tree and make a small donation to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Our hope is that we receive enough votes to make a difference in the lives of the children and their families in BC that need our help.
