IBEW Webinar Wednesdays

Our first session of “Webinar Wednesdays” took place last week with over 20 participants. Thank you to all who attended and completed the evaluation. To provide better access to our members in Western Canada and those who were not able to attend the first session, we will be reoffering this webinar on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 6:00 pm PDT. Titled, “Introduction to the Education Department”, it will cover who our education department is, the courses available and how to request them through your Business Manager. To attend the webinar, participants will need to register in advance using the link below.

Participants will need to provide their full name and local union number when registering. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Going forward webinars will be offered every 2 weeks; one held at a better time slot for our members in Eastern Canada and one at a better time slot for our members in Western Canada. The next new webinar titled, “Structure of the IBEW” will cover how the IBEW is structured along with the roles and responsibilities of elected officers and staff. It will take place as follows:
- Eastern Canada – Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 7:00 pm EDT
- Western Canada – Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 6:00 pm PDT
