It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of retired member Dale Nixon, who passed away peacefully in Prince George at the age of 75.
Brother Nixon was a proud and dedicated member of IBEW Local 993 for 53 years. Over the course of his long career, Dale not only contributed his skills and expertise on the tools, but he also played a significant role in promoting the values of union brotherhood and strengthening our membership. Dale was a tireless organizer, always ready to share the benefits of union representation with others. His commitment to growing our Local and supporting the next generation of electricians left a lasting impact across our territory.
Dale will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his warm spirit, and the pride he took in being part of the IBEW family. His legacy lives on in the countless members he helped bring into the union and in the strong, supportive community he helped to build.
We extend our deepest condolences to Dale’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
