On September 11, 2020, Tom Reid First District International Vice President announced to all IBEW First District Inside Construction Local Unions: There are new opportunities for Canadian IBEW members to go down to Pennsylvania to work on the Pennsylvania Cracker plant. Mr. Mark Selbert of Great Arrow Builders has notified our office that extensions for the existing H2B Visa holders have been approved by the US Department of Labor and that substitutions are permitted should any present Visa holder choose not to return. These extensions are good for twelve months, currently, there are approximately fifty (50) openings for members interested in working on the site. This number is subject to change as some members have not yet indicated if they are returning.
Please note that applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
