Passing of Brother Joel Quilty

Joel passed away on December 5, 2023 at Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 77 years. He was born in Vancouver on August 5, 1946. He is survived by his four children Nicole, Angela, Daniel and Joel and five grand-children Laura, Mathew, Zander, Declan and Devon. He will also be missed by his Aunt Carole and life-long friend Terry. Prior to retirement, he was a Journeyman Electrician and worked throughout Canada, primarily in BC and Alberta. Joel lived in Ladysmith, BC for the past 10 years. His final year was spent at Suncreek Village in Surrey BC. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Surrey Hospitals Foundation. A service will be held at a later date.

Joel ended up as a 424 member, but spend years as a 993 member, working with many of us. Joe always had a joke, was a great brother, and will be missed by many of us.
