Mike passed away in his home town of Kamloops BC at 81 years old with his family by his side.

Mike was the best dad to Tony (Penny), Shelley (Ken), and Jeff (Lisa). He was a beloved Grandpa to Holly (Ryan), Sam (Genevieve), Corvus, Ferryn, Zen, Alexandria, and a devoted husband to Vicky. He was a mischievous brother to Pat and the late Jim Bolton, Mike grew up in Surrey and Burnaby BC with his parents, Grace and Big Jim, and his beloved Grandma Black. Mike was a fun uncle to Beverly, Audrey, Linda, Jimmy, and he’ll be missed by many in his extended family, including his first wife Sue and the Garcia family.

He was an accomplished electrician by trade working out of local IBEW 993 (Since 1965), a music lover, a motorcycle and classic car enthusiast and he loved to feel the wind in his hair on the open road.

Mike loved his family and was loyal to them, driving days to visit out-of-town family and friends, and he always had an open door for anyone who wanted to visit. A beautiful soul, a wonderful man. A gentle spirit.

Wherever he went he made friends and never failed to make their days a little brighter. He wasn’t a complainer, he was a doer, and a fixer with a heart of gold.

He will be mourned and missed by many and we are truly sad that future generations won’t hear his cornball jokes.

RIP Ekim Notlob (if you know you know)
