Provinces Should Have More Control Over Canadian Immigration

In a story on the Migration Expert web site, Hanna Eliasson reports that Premier Christy Clark has suggested provincial governments should have more control over Canadian immigration policy and who is approved to live and work in the country.
The Premier is unhappy with the current cap in is concerned about how this is going to affect future investment in our province when we have a manpower shortage to complete projects.
How is this going to affect us in the IBEW and the completion of the larger construction project on the horizon?
