2024/25 IBEW 993 Kamloops Storm Sponsorship

Along with the Kamloops & District Labour Council (KDLC), IUOE 115, CUPE 900, and CUPE 3500, IBEW Local 993 is sponsoring the Kamloops Storm Hockey Team for their 2024/2025 Season.

For the past few years, the KDLC and affiliated unions have sponsored the Storm's Labour Night and Weiner Dog Races, but going forward we've decided to step up our involvement. Partnering with the Kamloops Storm as a way to not only support their efforts, but really show the community that our local unions are the backbone of our  local workforce and drivers in all facets of your local community.

The Kamloops Storm are a Junior 'A' ice hockey team and members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). Home games are played on the Olympic ice at the MacArthur Island Sports complex.
