Each month the IBEW 993 Executive Meeting is on the first Tuesday of the month. The Unit II Meeting in Kamloops will be held on the Thursday following the Executive Meeting. The Unit I Meeting in Prince George will be held on the Wednesday following the Unit II Meeting. The Unit III Meeting in Terrace will be held on the Thursday following the Unit I Meeting.

The dates for all unit meetings are always on the IBEW 993 Calendar.

A good way to see what’s happening with current jobs is to take a look at the Current Requests and All Requests pages.

In order to be cleared to ANY job, you will need to have all your JRD certifications, along with a current (less that one year old) hearing test. You can check your certifications on your personal Certification Page.

Current & Upcoming Work

  1. Caribou Memorial (Williams Lake) Hospital with WPE.  Work continues. Site is at peak manpower, layoffs to start mid April
  2. Site “C” has just a few left for deficiencies and demobilization
  3. LNG Canada, First Phase is finished and waiting for the second phase…
  4. Maintenance calls to LNG  for TL&T are winding down
  5. Dawson Creek Hospital, Western Pacific has 185 members onsite and layoffs are starting.
  6.  Revelstoke 6th Unit. to start in late 2026 or early 2027
  7. Royal Inland Hospital Renovations to existing continue. (Kamloops)
  8. Prince George Hospital is confirmed, and Houle has the job, late 2026 or early 2027 start
  9. Highland Valley Copper has a few calls coming for Highland powerlines with more expected.
  10. Harrison industrial has the Brownfield scope at HVC and calls are starting.
  11. Kamloops Cancer center has broken ground and Houle is onsite.
  12. Calls to Enbridge substations with FMI ongoing.
  13. Fort Nelson Sub station, Fettback & Heesterman calls starting expect to man up to 25-30
  14. Kitimat Minette sub station Mott Electric, supervision onsite, Currently we do not know when this project will crew up.
